uBuild is based on the AnthillPro platform so it has integrations for many leading tools used throughout the application lifecycle and UrbanCode's open plugin system that lets you write your own plugins. The table below summarizes the planned uBuild integrations.
For starters, uBuild can integrate with any tool via command line. The plugins allow uBuild to integrate with external tools and automate the build. These plugins allow you to go well beyond a simple command-line integration. Plugins can leverage knowledge of the tool's options and capabilities of the system. For example: plugins can contribute steps to the workflow, instruct tools to perform actions, retrieve data from the tools, push data to the tools, parse the output, and so on.
Don't see the plugin you need? --Don't be concerned, it's easy to integrate with additional tools. If you'd like a new integration with a tool, please contact the integration team. Or, you can write your own with UrbanCode's open Plugin System.
