Many teams have in-house or customized tools they use in their build, test or deployment processes. Plugins allow any tool to be incorporated into uBuild.

Plugins allow you to wrap your home-grown build, test, and deploy scripts with the uBuild process. Once the Plugin is written, you can then use the steps to create standardized processes that can be reused throughout your organization.

uBuild provides many standard steps, but a team may frequently run steps not built into uBuild. Plugins allow you to formalize a solution to your specific cases and problems, and then implement it as a standardized process.
