uRelease Product Tour

uRelease's release management and coordination platform supports three layers of organization to provide a versatile, controllable release process with visibility throughout the Release, Deployment and Environment Plans.

The Release Plan

The Release Plan identifies what versions of which applications are included in the release. Gates and approvals are defined to ensure quality is maintained, as the release passes through the phases of its lifecycle.

The Deployment Plan

The Deployment Plan keeps track of application and infrastructure changes. It defines how changes are introduced into an environment, be they automated or manual. It manages the deployment of the applications and their alignment with the environment infrastructure changes that are part of the release.

The Environment Plan

The Environment Plan allows users to manage the release environments. Release environments are logical environments mapped onto the physical environments where the applications reside. The release environment defines the scope of interactions between applications. It includes instances of applications that may not be part of the release but are required for testing dependencies.
