Auditability, Traceability, and Role-based Security

UrbanCode provides traceability of artifacts deployed to any environment (including production) all the way back to the exact source code used to produce those artifacts. And our tools keeps audit trails of each user's activities, it is easy to identify the person that initiated the build of the artifacts, as well as the person that initiated any deployment of the artifacts. uBuild's integration with your SCM system means that uBuild provides a detailed list of all source code changes included in any build. Additionally, during any deployment, uBuild can produce a report of all source code changes between the last build deployed to the target environment and the current build being deployed.

Role-based security means that uBuild and uDeploy meet all of your requirements out of the box. And UrbanCode's tools integrate with your LDAP server, so there's virtually no learning curve for your security team.

Compliance and Audit Reporting

uBuild and uDeploy provide the reports you need for compliance and audits out of the box. You can easily access a report of all deployments to production, along with plenty of pertinent information like who initiated the deployment and when. Each Build Life contains a Bill of Materials that lists all the source code changes included in the build, as well as all post-build activities performed on the Build Life (such as deployments). uBuild is all you need to meet your compliance requirements, and can easily provide all the information required by audits.
